Funginix is a blend of Natural and Pharmaceutical ingredients. It is easy to administer and effective but approaches restoring healthy nails from a topical only approach. The cost is very affordable for something this effective. |

Have found that some nail fungus infections return if treatment is not continued for at least 4 full months due to its topical only approach. Funginix ingredients include one pharmaceutical element which some people try to avoid. |

Funginix is for the person who wants extreme ease of application / use and who doesn't mind adding some pharmaceutical drug strength to a mostly natural product. If you want 100% Natural, this product is not for you. (If you want all natural see reviews for ZetaClear or Nail Fungus No More).
The creators of Funginix combined the best anti-fungal essential oils and other natural ingredients from herbal medicine with one of the strong traditional medication anti-fungals available without a prescription. The result is a very effective "hybrid" approach to restoring healthy nails to those fighting fungal infections in, around and under their nails.
The company believes strongly, and rightly so, that most medications adversely effect the liver, skin and even the bone marrow of the patient. Working from this premise they have created the hypbrid from mostly natural products adding a minor amount amount of pharmaceutical ingredients into the blend.
The result is a highly effective product that is easy to use and FDA registered treatment for toenail and fingernail fungus. The potent blend of botanical ingredients are well documented to eliminate nail fungus in clinical studies.
Most over-the-counter treatments and prescription medications only provide relief from the symptoms and never really effectively kill the fungus.
The Funginix topical ointment works to increase your body's natural anti-inflammatory and anti-infection capabilities, thus allowing you to fight the nail fungus without any negative side-effects. The ingredients in the Funginix anti-fungal treatment very effectively penetrate infected nails and nail beds to kill nail fungus without the use of harsh chemicals found in prescription treatments.
Besides being just as effective as prescription drugs, Funginix is much less expensive.
One of our main review criteria is whether or not a product was completely 100% natural. The majority of the products we reviewed were. Fungi is not but still managed to rate a Silver ranking for the following reasons.
Funginix proved to be extremely effective in all of our reviews and testing as well as very few cases of recurrence. In fact, in 97% of the test cases the users reported that having clear and shiny, new-looking nails between 3-4 months after beginning treatment. For more cases that were more severe to begin with (which was just over 10% of the test subjects) the process of restoring healthy nails took from 4 to 5 months to complete.
Many nail fungus treatments must admit a high level of recurrence. It is our belief that the reason for this is due to the fact that many users quit using the product too soon. Once the nail begins looking better they quit and the result in a fungus infection that was almost dead but allowed to return causing them to have to start treatment all over again. This was also found to be the case with Funginix.
While we believe Funginix to be a highly effective treatment it is still recommended to continue treatment for at least a month after all external symptoms of the infection have disappeared. Users who quit prematurely were found to have a higher rate of recurrence of the infection.
If using 100% natural products in not a top priority for you, we would have a hard time determining whether Funginix or ZetaClear would rank first. Both were extremely effective when used according to instructions. Rates of recurrence were low with both (which we still believe may be due to lack of proper use rather than the product not working).
